I would like to share a little about my experience with LASIK surgery. 

     I am an employee of The Harman Eye Clinic and up until recently depended on glasses for driving, especially at night.

Last week I followed in the steps of our refractive patients:  I had LASIK surgery!  And now I see 20/10.  It is amazing.  Having LASIK surgery has made me giddy with life.  It has given me much more confidence.  Just to give you an example.  I attended a wedding this weekend and as usual I felt uncomfortable and awkward about meeting people I couldn’t recognize until they were close up.  This time, however, I walked in the door and was able to see across the room and, by golly, I recognized faces of people I have known for years!  I was immediately reassured that this was going to be a great experience.  That’s the difference I am experiencing!

I see better and I have more command of my life.  I find myself smiling all the time.  I have a daughter and I am so delighted that when we go swimming I can keep perfect track of her.   The signs on the road jump out at me.  I no longer have to squint.  The world is mine.
